I first met Anthony Heiser (right of pic) on Lake Eucumbene in a blizzard. I was walking along the bank with my backpack covered in snow – he was sitting in his car and offered me a cup of coffee.  Anthony is heavily involved with Canberra Fisherman’s Club and chases ANSA points and lines class records quite passionately. I got him interested in flyfishing and he now tries to catch every and any species on fly.  As it was at the Gold Coast Flathead Classic.  But it was his pictures of the osprey that I thought deserving of the post – not that flathead aren’t worthy of course 🙂
